When a struggling artist stumbles across a fallen star she finds her creative calling by dancing with him. All her focus on the star and her creative pursuit, leads to the bitter downfall of the world she built around it.
CALLING is a film about the pressure and perfectionism artists often struggle with in this current climate, that is largely unkind to those who want to pursue their passion. The film is told through the perspective of Sisko, a young artist living in a snow covered cabin by an icy lake.
For this film I worked on visual development and background art. This included part of the character design, directing on color and creating the background for the outdoor scenes.
